In Melbourne, apc.au are spreading the word and also extending the concept of Document Freedom to include Open Licensing of content. As part of this, we will be making available over 10 years of our essays, lectures, reports and articles dealing with ICT for Cultural Development. These are hosted on our web site using ODF/PDF format and released under Creative Commons licenses. You can view our wiki page and our press release for more information.

Google Australia have written an excellent blog entry about DFD 08 and will be holding their first "Document Freedom Day" in Sydney at their offices with speakers including Senator Kate Lundy.
