APITUX promotes free software and open standards.
For example I take part in Candidats.fr initiative (http://candidats.fr/) witch aims to ask politicians to use and support free software.
For the Document Freedom Day I plan to do a mailing to the politician with a document in French explaining why it is so important to use open standards.
An important note is that we have in French law a quite good definition of what is an open format.
