From Document Freedom Day
What is a DFD team?
A Document Freedom Day team is group of people who want to be part of our community and organise activities to promote free document formats.
Do we have to have an organization in order to register for a team?
No. disorganizations can register a team too:-) You don't need a formal organization to form a team.
How should we name our team?
There is no specific rule for that. You can name it by your organization or informal group. We suggest that you not call your team by the name of a city or country though, since there might be other teams from the same place.
What if there is more than one team in our city?
We suggest you to organize activities together since all teams might attract the same population.
This is applicable to all geographic or any other areas that might attract the same people.

How should we handle multiple languages?
Your main team page should be in English. If members of your team can make pages in other languages, we recommend that you add /country_code at the end of the page for these languages, as can be seen on the front page:

- Italian: http://documentfreedom.org/Main_Page/it
- 简体中文 : http://documentfreedom.org/Main_Page/zh-cn
And then you can put this HTML at the bottom of your page so that people can find the translations:

What about the content of the team page?
You are free to create the content on the site and improve existing. We encourage you to do that and look forward to see you contributing the site.
We also suggest you to check if there is similar content already on the site.

Enter here the country name
City
Enter here the city where you'll organize the activity
Organization
Please add the name of the organization or user group you're part of. If none, you can create a nice name for your team! Contact: Please provide a name and e-mail address so people can contact you to engage on your activity
Event
Where? When? (confirm date/time. Some cities may want to organize events in a different date due to local holidays) What?

country, and delete this comment.
